Your main duties and responsibilities include:
Strategy
• Lead the strategic process, including pitches on allocated accounts
• Bring rigor to our strategic thinking; simplifying the complex
• Ensure strategy is a valued revenue centre within the agency
• Help to enhance proprietary strategic tools, models, and processes
• Demonstrate a deep strategic understanding across numerous different disciplines: brand positioning, brand identity, packaging, communications, shopper marketing, innovation, naming, brand architecture, tone of voice, etc.
• Direct contact with the senior client, becoming a valued client confidant
• Undertake stakeholder interviews, consumer interviewing and focus group moderation that will inform strategic thinking
• Conduct competitor, category and semiotic analysis, identifying implications for client brands
• Generate consumer insights and consumer pen portraits
• Creative brief setting, writing, and briefing
• Compile Design Strategy presentations and create inspirational Design Platforms
• Structure workshop facilitation and brainstorming – internally and with clients
• Build valued relationships with senior client teams that aid agency dependency and business development
• Keep your ear to the ground, continually listening (and looking) for potential opportunities
• Proactively deliver relevant and tailored thought-pieces or client initiatives to help meet forecasted targets
• Support Client Partners and Business Development Directors in their mining efforts
• Building influencing skills that can be used accordingly and appropriately
Requirements
• Solid experience within Strategy teams, working with big, multinational FMCG brands.
• Outstanding strategic capabilities and client serving skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a frenetic, fast-paced environment; be flexible and responsive
• Ability to work in a team, across of projects, strategy and senior team structures
• Strength of support to senior team members
• Strength of relationship skills – internally and externally
• Ability to manage your support team
