” WowMe! Design creates The Emoji Movie “Express Your Selfie” packs for the Kerry Foods kids’ dairy range.
WowMe! were briefed by Kerry Foods and Sony Pictures, to create a fun look for their on-pack promotion in support of this Summer’s “must see” family film, The Emoji Movie. The campaign is running across Kerry’s Cheestrings, Yollies and Scoffies brands.
The “Express Your Selfie” promotion encourages families to create an Emoji expression, drawing or selfie and upload it to be in with a chance of winning daily prizes and instant movie downloads.
“It’s all about the fun…” said Jon Cornish, Kerry Foods Client Services Manager at WowMe! “…the film is perfectly positioned with a similar target audience to Yollies, Cheestrings and Scoffies. Engaging kids over the Summer period and also when they go back to school, was a key driver.”
“We not only needed to ensure on-brand messaging, being part of a wider £1m marketing campaign, we needed to ensure that the packs had wide appeal. A complete “family” of new Yollies characters has been created for the sticks, all with fun expressions.” He added, “We are extremely proud of the end results.”

Following the success of previous partnerships, which saw Cheestrings sales increase by 12%, we are confident the mass appeal of The Emoji Movie will mean promotional packs are just as popular with parents.”
The “Express You Selfie” promotion runs for 10 weeks from the 10th July.”
