The Rated Wine Co had been in business for many years, importing and selling wine face to face to customers. As a response to changing buying habits and technology, they wanted to create a new brand to focus on selling wines that were highly rated and well-reviewed on social media and popular wine apps like Vivino. A TripAdvisor for wine, essentially. They approach us to help create a strong new brand identity for their revamped business, that would be recognisable and flexible across multiple platforms. Workbrands designer Lewis Osborne took the reins, creating a beautifully bold and original identity that (crucially) steered clear of the clichés that typically feature within the wine industry.
