Centurion Family Vineyards came to CF Napa wanting a package design for their wine brand that captured their love of their ranch located on Sonoma Mountain and the owner’s cowboy-at-heart personality. They developed their brand name, Gathesa, by combining portions of their three sons’ names: Gabriel, Theodore, and Samuel. Our solution leveraged this personal connection to family by creating a custom monogram from their sons’ initials surrounded by an elaborate Western-inspired, retro-modern label design. The label is embossed much like a decorative horse saddle and the label even leverages a laser die-cut through the label much like an ear notch utilized on cattle ranches.
