About: Warm Up– Vitaminised Energy Drink made specifically for preparing your body for optimal physical activities performance. Product line consists of several flavours, such as: Orange and Mango, Raspberry and Lychee, Blueberry and Coconut, Kiwi and Lime, Raspberry and Apple. The key issue to solve was how to show the aim on sport-related target audience through visual language. This project was made as part of the “Art Direction” Masters Course of HSE Art and Design School. Curator: Leonid Slavin.
Solution: Packaging design is based on athlete silhouettes shaped out from massive typography lettering (Wake Up brand name). Edgy and sharp typography shows upward move vector of a sportsman. Background pattern emphasises various moves throughout the warming up process. Main color pallet consist primarily of gradients, associated with visuals of fruits and berries. Choice of 0,33l and 0,25l volume of cans based on comfortable “to go” size, making it easy to drink before and during sport sessions.
Result: Bright visual image of human silhouette makes a can package stand out from shelf space. Comprehensible details, such as pattern and typography emphasize sport-related category of the product. Chosen color pallet, combined with minimalistic details outside of the main image, helps standout from competitors design of the shelf space. Transportation box continues the visual identity of the hole package, adding additional space for obligatory information, compound, credits and manufacturer information.
