Viver Belém is a project in honor of the 407th anniversary of the city of Belém do Pará. Rich in flavors, aromas, culture and people, we systematize these characteristics in a modern visual proposal, with the influence of a past that is still present in the streets of the city.
The project was conceived with the intention of rescuing the historical importance that the city has, directly influenced by European culture, and even considered the “Paris in America”, Belém has several Art Nouveau characteristics in its architectural structure, in addition to the large amount of Portuguese Azulejos that make up its historic buildings and the homes of its citizens. This being the basis for the graphic construction of the forms of the logo and the unfolding of the identity.
The colors were thought of and taken from one of the city’s greatest historical assets, Feira do Ver-O-Peso. Taken by fruits, herbs, handicrafts and typical foods, the market is an explosion of colors and life that represents the city in its entirety, which is an essential attribute to reproduce and graphically externalize the power that is Belém do Pará.
The elements, shapes, patterns and applications were designed to create proximity with the residents of Pará, making them identify with and experience the city, remembering the value of the past, but without forgetting the need and influence of the present moment, in addition to opening space for treat the city of mangos as a tourist attraction in a more lively, dynamic and lively way.
