Vaora: Holistic Rebranding for a Future-oriented Tax Consultancy by Design Network

As part of a comprehensive rebranding process, we supported the tax consultancy firm Bliem – Di Valentino in its transformation into Vaora Steuerberatung GmbH. The primary objective of the project was to strategically reposition the firm and develop a contemporary brand that embodies clarity, trust, and future orientation. At the heart of this transformation was a holistic positioning approach that not only communicated the firm’s professional expertise but also reflected its human-centered approach and self-image in a modern, authentic brand world.

From developing a new name and crafting a distinctive brand identity to designing every communication touchpoint, we created a brand that resonates both externally with clients and internally with employees. The name Vaora symbolizes the value of the hour and stands for a clear mindset: forward-thinking, dependable tax consulting with vision. The newly defined brand strategy places strong emphasis on market differentiation, a clear value system, and a consistent, future-ready visual identity across all channels.

A key element of the rebranding process was the development of a strategic employer branding concept. The goal was to position Vaora as an attractive and future-proof employer — one that not only draws attention in the talent market but also fosters a strong internal culture. Internal brand anchoring was just as important as external visibility. Employees were actively involved in the transformation to ensure identification with the brand and to foster a sense of ownership and pride. As a result, a cohesive brand experience was created that appeals to both clients and staff, laying the foundation for long-term growth and sustainable relationships.

Through close collaboration with the Vaora team, we developed a brand architecture and communication strategy that authentically captures the essence of the firm. The outcome is a bold, forward-facing brand that clearly distinguishes itself in a competitive landscape — professional, approachable, and visionary.
