VantaBlack Studio’s Branding: Ale Pacheco Design Studio
Branding as the Art of Contrast: A Personal Brand Project for an Eclectic Interior Designer
At Vantablack, we don’t create ordinary brands. We build identities that challenge, break molds, and transcend the ordinary. This time, we faced a fascinating challenge: designing the personal brand of an interior design expert whose essence is pure eclecticism.
Eclecticism is a subtle art. It’s not visual chaos or a directionless whim—it’s a precise choreography between classic and avant-garde, understated and bold, industrial and organic. It’s the ability to find beauty in contrasts, to assemble the unexpected without losing harmony. It is, ultimately, a vision that demands mastery.
We immersed ourselves in her world. We studied her projects, her processes, and her instinct for blending disparate elements into seamless, character-filled living spaces. The visual identity had to embody this duality—strength and fluidity, luxury and comfort, precision and creativity.
The result is a brand that doesn’t follow pre-established rules but reinterprets them. A visual identity that plays with contrasting typography, unexpected color palettes, and a graphic universe that reflects the balanced tension of her designs.
This brand is not just a name or a logo. It’s an aesthetic manifesto, a statement of intent. It’s proof that in design, as in life, opposites don’t just coexist—they come together to create something extraordinary.
This is how we see branding at Vantablack—not as a mere design exercise, but as the visual translation of a philosophy.
