At birth, we have a natural path as human beings: to grow and age. We know this from our earliest years of life.
We can live up to our 40 years old, 60s, 80s, or even more than 100 years old.
But one thing we all know for sure: the more time passes by, the more our bodies change. Our skin starts to get flaccid, wrinkles start to appear, we start to not recognize ourselves anymore and this strongly affects our self-esteem.
Plastic surgeon Vanessa Mombach’s sensitivity lies in understanding women. She knows that women who reach their 40s, 50s, 60s are no longer the same as they were at 20, 30 years old. Many of them have had children, many of them have been in the sun for a long time, many of them have gained or lost weight over the course of their lives, and all of them have had significant changes in their bodies. Age advances and women’s self-esteem start to fall down with age walking faster and faster.
That’s why Vanessa came to us with a very clear objective: to perform surgeries on older women, who have already been mothers, have aged, but want to regain their self-esteem, want to return to love themselves. And that’s exactly what we did.
We used light, delicate colors to transmit affection, desire and a welcoming feeling, along with a stronger, mature shade of green, with low saturation, to bring an elegant atmosphere, contrasting with the vibrancy of lighter colors.
In typography we explored a more mature serif font, with personality, but at the same time that brings many curves in its letters, thus remembering the body curves.
In the taglines, we explored the feeling of recovering self-esteem, of literally falling in love again for yourself,
after a surgery performed by Vanessa.
For the concepts, dismemberments and all her communication material, we brought the lightness that Vanessa’s essence needs to match together with the maturity belonging to her patients, creating a perfect scenario to talk to her ideal audience.
