“Lucas Bols, creating spirits since 1575, presents Single Barrel Bols Genever, Barrel Strength. This very special blend aged for 8 years in one single Oak cask and was kept in het Paradijs, the place where the master distiller of Lucas Bols keeps the most beautiful spirits.
For this special Limited edition Bols asked VHD to create the packaging design. Craftsmanship, history and quality are very important features for all Bols products, which are successfully translated to this limited edition design. Next to the bottle and the labels, VHD designed a tailor made wooden box.
The Single Barrel is filled by hand directly from the barrel. To symbolize this craft, VHD also wrote and numbered one of the labels by hand (only 400 bottles have been made), making this project even more exclusive.”
