Nestled in the foothills of the Hunua Ranges south of Auckland sits The Boundary Road Brewery. Started in 2011, it is a brewery that has become known for its name-sake craft beer brand, Boundary Road Brewery. We were tasked to re-stage the brand and reinvigorate it in the accessible craft beer category.
With consumer insights at the heart of the project, we have designed a brand identity that utilised newly created distinctive assets – the BRB lock-up and the dynamic ‘Shed’ device. This consistent approach then gave us space and freedom to celebrate the character of each and every BRB beer through punchy illustrations.
The result was a powerful yet playful new look and the brand that is now more commonly known as the abbreviation we created – BRB – the fastest growing mainstream craft beer in New Zealand.
