Brand design for “La Silva,” a kiosk located in Alicante’s Parque de Canalejas that evokes a bohemian atmosphere, drawing on the natural charm of its surroundings. Inspired by the artistic movements of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, its identity combines modernist references, hints of the Belle Époque, and the creative spirit of the period to create a unique cultural experience. Under this premise, “La Silva” becomes an urban haven that invites visitors to unwind, revel in the park’s beauty, and immerse themselves in a world of inspiration and sophistication.
A custom wordmark has been developed for La Silva, designed in alignment with the client’s creative direction. The objective was to evoke the spirit of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, drawing inspiration from Art Nouveau and the rise of industrial society.
The logotype features a high-contrast condensed typeface—commonly seen in Art Nouveau posters—which has been customized with distinctive details to ensure a unique and memorable identity.
To capture the industrial essence, the typeface was adapted into a stencil style, incorporating bold cuts that reference the practical need for painted markings on goods, crates, transportation, and tools.
To enhance brand recognition and express a deeper narrative, a custom serif was added to the “a,” shaped like a leaf—a subtle nod to the natural jungle environment (la selva). This organic counterbalance reinforces the brand’s artistic character while linking it to its roots.
