A new range of clinical formula hair and skincare products capturing the transformative power of exosomes, a new innovation in skin and hair rejuvenation.

These tiny vesicles prompt intercellular communication and signalling between skin cells, promoting regeneration and renewal at a cellular level.

The design concept is an expression of the action of exosomes . We created a grid system of interconnected X + O symbols that combine to create a signature pattern that forms the core visual architecture of the brand. The XO pattern represents the XO of the name which is an abbreviation of the word exosome.

From this XO grid, smaller sections were then extracted to create a signature X motif and then distilled further to a single unit XO icon. Exosomes are spherical in shape and so the small O’s of the pattern are a stylised representation of the exosomes and the X’s represent the interconnection the exosomes promote between cells.

These modular symbols are applied within an invisible grid of the larger XO pattern, with all elements applied at the same scale across touch points to reflect the clinical precision and to further reflect the concept of cellular building blocks.

The XO grid pattern is executed in a pink spectrum gradient for the skincare range and a blue-spectrum gradient for the haircare range. These base colour gradients have then been overlaid with a transparent holographic foil. This adds an added dimension of dynamism to the patterns and is intended to capture the fluid, science led nature of the formulations and to add a vibrant counterpoint to the clinical white canvases of the packaging formats.

The range is packaged across primary glass bottles, soft touch outer cartons, recycled plastic tubes tubes + aluminium tins.
