Every brand has a shape at its heart. For Black Circle, that shape was already there, perfectly round, rich in flavor, and unforgettable in color. This Tehran-based burger shop is celebrated for its signature black buns, a daring twist on a comfort classic. We began where all good branding journeys start: with the name. Black Circle distills the burger’s form to its simplest essence, a circle, and dresses it in the boldness of black, creating a name as striking and memorable as the product itself.
Black Circle isn’t just a place to eat, it’s a small, welcoming corner where friends gather, stories unfold, and the air hums with laughter over sizzling patties. The branding needed to mirror that feeling: approachable yet confident, familiar yet distinctive. Think of it as the visual equivalent of sitting with your favorite people, hands wrapped around a perfectly crafted burger, while the world outside takes a backseat.
To capture this energy, we created the tagline: “Take a bite into the dark side.” It’s playful but powerful, a nod to the bold black bun and an invitation to step into something new.
Visually, the identity builds on the purity of form. Minimal, clean shapes echo the essential layers of a burger, transformed into a visual language that is both modern and flexible. These elements evolved into custom patterns, packaging concepts, and a logo that’s as sharp as it is simple. The result is an identity that feels fresh, confident, and timeless, much like the burgers themselves.
At its core, Black Circle is more than food; it’s an experience. It’s where design, flavor, and human connection meet in a warm, black-dotted circle, a place you’ll want to return to, again and again.
