Atelier Trama is a brand specializing in sewing, alterations, and handcrafted pieces founded in Caruaru, Brazil. Created by Renata, who started sewing as a young girl, driven by curiosity and a fascination with her grandmother’s basket of fabric scraps, threads, and needles. At 12, her hobby became a profession, and through sewing came her first achievements: her first computer, her first wardrobe. Each piece was another thread weaving her independence and building her own path forward.
The name “Atelier Trama” draws inspiration from the Fates of Greek mythology — the weavers of destiny who spun the threads of life itself. Trama means ‘weave’ in Portuguese, representing not only the structure of fabric but also the intertwining of relationships, memories stitched through time, and the quiet strength of women who sew not just garments, but lives. This concept of weaving — of connecting past, present, and future — became the foundation of the entire brand identity.
The atelier embodies a nostalgic, traditional feeling blended seamlessly with modernity. The visual identity needed to honor the legacy of craftsmanship while speaking authentically to contemporary audiences. Soft, natural tones like cotton white, pistachio green, lilac, and rich brown felt ideal — colors that evoke the tactile quality of fabric and thread, grounding the brand in both elegance and accessibility. These gradients symbolize the connections between generations, between tradition and innovation, between the individual threads that come together to create something beautiful and enduring.
Every element of the branding celebrates Renata’s journey and the values she embodies: independence, resilience, empathy, attention to detail, and the quiet power of handmade craft. The brand’s personality combines the archetype of the Weaver — patient, creative, and deeply connected to stories and memory — with the Caregiver, who listens attentively and treats each client’s piece with genuine care and respect.
