The Pie Festival Brand Identity Concept by Student Maria Kozlova

The identity of the pie festival in our yard reflects the spirit of neighborhood, family comfort and mutual support. At the pie festival in our yard you will find a wide selection of various pies – from traditional fillings to more exotic and creative variations. The packaging and labeling of pies can be decorated with special labels, which indicate the names and ingredients for the convenience of visitors. The extensive program of events will include contests for the best pie, presentations and master classes in baking art, where you can learn the secrets of professional bakers, as well as games and entertainment for all ages.The pie festival in our yard will be a great opportunity to strengthen ties in our community, create new acquaintances and share the joy of delicious pies. So, the visual identity of the festival is aimed at preserving human relationships, acquaintance, warm friendship and neighborhood. Therefore, the main visual basis was a checkered tablecloth.

The main graphic element for the identity of the pie festival was a checkered tablecloth, which probably everyone had in childhood. Through the checkered tablecloth, I wanted to evoke nostalgic memories of childhood, homeliness, carelessness and warmth.
Also, the tablecloth has become a symbol of uniting close people at one table.
Moreover, the checkered tablecloth and pies are united by their characteristic patterning, so the pies also turned out with a checkered pattern.
