The packaging design for Thé Legend’s tea collection is a celebration of seasonality, flavor, and joy. The project involved the creation of a visual identity for both the hot and cold tea ranges, each crafted to evoke a distinct sensory and emotional connection with the consumer. Our goal was to develop a packaging system that is not only aesthetically appealing but also helps differentiate each variety at first glance through a cohesive yet flexible design language.
For the hot tea collection, we developed cylindrical containers wrapped in vibrant, botanical illustrations inspired by seasonal ingredients such as orange peel, ginger, caramel, or flowers. Each design uses color strategically—deep red, lush green, and calm blue backgrounds reflect warmth and depth, while a consistent use of white lids and central labels introduces clarity and harmony. The illustrations are hand-drawn, playful, and layered to create an immersive and optimistic visual experience.
Building on this visual system, the cold tea range brings a refreshing twist to the family. These flexible pouch packages retain the brand’s signature illustration style but introduce brighter, lighter color palettes featuring summer fruits like lemon, melon, and berries. The labels are centrally placed and easy to read, with bilingual naming that supports both local and international markets. The background colors are intentionally light and fresh to convey coolness and a thirst-quenching character, ideal for the cold-brew nature of the product.
Functionality was a key consideration in the layout. The information hierarchy is clear and balanced, ensuring high legibility on shelves or in online stores. The friendly typography, combined with the handmade feel of the illustrations, creates a strong emotional appeal while maintaining a premium and contemporary aesthetic.
In sum, the Thé Legend packaging system was designed to stand out through color, character, and clarity. It supports brand recognition, enhances product storytelling, and reinforces the seasonal experience through thoughtful design. Whether hot or cold, each variety invites customers to pause, enjoy, and savor the moment.
