The Emerald Isle Packaging Design

The concept behind The Emerald Isle Collection is to create a timeless art statement, in what is a historical collaboration – the first of its kind – with Fabergé, where the best of luxury whiskey meets the best and most iconic heritage of jewellery design.

The Emerald Isle celebrates the ‘Seven Wonders of Ireland’. Seven exquisite pieces from masters of their respective arts — jewellers, cabinet makers, horologists, glassmakers and whiskey craftsmen — every component is created entirely by hand. ‘The Emerald Isle Collection’ fuses Fabergé’s unique heritage, living Irish tradition and the exceptional flavours of this 30-year-old, triple distilled, ultra-rare whiskey.

A unique legacy in enamel, glass, wood, stone and spirit.

Seven iconic places in Ireland were chosen as the inspiration for the hues and bespoke details that are subtly crafted into The Emerald Isle Collection. This common thread keeps the sets unified and consistent as a relatable family of seven artistic statements. With a twist of Irish tradition, The Emerald Isle Collection is a uniquely time-defying celebration of the luxury, colour and boldness of an ultra-rare whiskey.

The meticulously crafted gemstone-encrusted bottle is the central display point of this collection, with only 7 of these bottles created, fully handcrafted and mouth blown, using the age-old glassmaking techniques, in what is truly, a celebration of craftsmanship.

The vessel, fully inspired by the iconic Fabergé egg shaping, has a thick oval ice at the bottom with a turned step that houses a gold-plated base ring. The smooth egg surface then leads to a voluptuous neck, with a solid handcrafted brass neck with almost 40 encrusted cabochon Emeralds.

With a bespoke engraving around the upper part of the neck, the right side of the bottle also contains a small hook with a golden chain and bespoke key that opens the cabinets inside the experience box that contain the Celtic Egg and the Fabergé watch.

The decoration of the glass vessel is purely done with gold and emerald-green foiling, leaving the maximum transparency underneath for the natural shades of the ultra-rare whiskey to shine through the vessel.

Above, a prominent obsidian domed cap with a textured brass ring forms the closure of this exclusive bottle, topped with a solid gold plated disc at the very top with additional 40 encrusted emeralds and a bespoke illustration in gold metal lining that is unique to each of the bottles, and therefore to each of the Seven Wonders of Ireland.
