The Ecippo Brand: ddc.group’s Design for the Modern Urban Traveler

Approaching any task with thoroughness and intelligence is key, especially when it comes to international travel or long journeys. After all, when you’re on the road or exploring exotic lands, it’s important to spend time soaking in new experiences rather than seeking in your backpack for the items you need at that moment. For those who crave travel and thrilling emotions but still prefer to have everything organised and in order, we’ve created the smart luggage brand Ecippo. The Ecippo brand is a story not only about a passion for exciting travels but also about logic, practicality, and ergonomics. Every detail is meticulously thought out, and each component plays its role.

Our target audience comprises modern urban citizens. They dislike being distracted by trivialities during their leisure time, and they consider trip planning much like athletes or explorers approach to choosing their gear. For them, it’s important not only how their suitcase or backpack looks but also how it’s organized inside and how its elements function.
That’s why the base of the Ecippo brand’s name is term “equipment.” After all, Ecippo is everything you need on the road to ensure a successful trip. The graphical element of the combined logo is an allusion to a paperclip or a neatly folded travel blanket, whichever is more convenient for you. The logo is utilised in the packaging design and serves as a pivotal design component. It’s not just found on the sides of suitcases but also on wheels, zipper pulls, and various other components.

The paperclip image has also inspired a dynamic and graphical corporate pattern. Different iterations of this pattern are incorporated into the design of inner linings, featured on promotional materials, and utilised on additional carriers. The primary colorы of the Ecippo brand consist of dense and saturated tones. Conversely, the additional colors are intentionally vibrant and sunny – they serve to differentiate between various product lines of the brand. After all, Ecippo is not just about thoughtfulness and ergonomics, but also about exciting journeys, warm emotions, and the lightness and openness to all things new.
