The Daily Greek Brand Identity

The challenge:
When you want to taste the flavor of Greece, you need exceptional packaging that makes a ‘tasty difference’… That’s what we had in mind to create The Daily Greek brand identity (artisan bakery stores), through a creative concept that could successfully convey the Greek origins of the brand, and merge the magic of traditional and Greek heritage with the magic of design.

Our work:
Paying homage to the Greek heritage, influenced by the well-known Greek color palette of white and blue shades, and enchanted by the power of the simplicity of all geometrical forms, we used a set of harmonious lines and shapes to create eye-catching patterns that make a striking visual statement. These were our guiding stars that set the course towards a design that would successfully be infused with the flavors of Greece, and could turn consumers into adventurous travelers in the land of Greek traditions and recipes!

The typography is inspired by the exhibits of the Greek national epigraphical museum and more particularly from the ancient marble and stone inscriptions found throughout the entirety of Greece and are a testament to the tradition that carried over to the generations, bringing recipes and tastes along with it. Their minimal aesthetic comes to compliment the aesthetic of the pattern and together they form a solid brand identity.

Each packaging solution should be sustainable. In The Daily Greek brand identity, glass jars and bottles, not only are recyclable, but act as a sustainable packaging solution too, since they can be reused into plant pots.
