Terminal Developed Brand and Packaging Design for Silent Jazz Brew

Terminal Developed Brand and Packaging Design for Silent Jazz Brew

Terminal has developed a brand and packaging for all sorts of currently produced private products of the Silent Jazz Brew. Silent Jazz Brew is a new brewery with a passion for beer experimentation inspired by jazz music. The brand identity is based on the combination of classic and avant-garde styles, traditions and improvisations that are so characteristic of jazz. We have developed a sign that resembles a treble clef and a monogram consisting of the letters S and J (Silent Jazz) and made packaging for all types of products currently produced.

The font used to write the names of the drinks became the basis of the identity. It, visually like the notes, gives great opportunities for various combinations and variations, illustrating jazz compositions and the beer drinks themselves. In typography, we have combined the Berlingske Serif Stencil typeface in contrast to the large geometric shapes found in display sans serifs. Together with the customer’s names (Jazz Gose To Town, West Coast Moods, Blind Dates), we used abbreviated versions of well-known craft beers (Gose, IPA, Sour), written in a certain way in the general style of the SJB brand.
