This conceptual tea packaging project explores packaging as an emotional and sensory experience rather than a purely functional container. The project aims to transform everyday tea packaging into a visual object that communicates atmosphere, calmness, and presence.

The art direction is built around a contemporary pointillism illustration approach, where imagery is formed through layered color particles instead of defined outlines. This technique allows visuals to feel soft, immersive, and fluid, creating depth without sharp contrasts and encouraging a slower, more contemplative visual experience.

Each tea variant—green tea, black tea, and mint tea—is translated into a distinct emotional mood through color, composition, and illustration rhythm. Green tea reflects freshness and balance through lighter tones and organic forms, black tea conveys warmth and introspection with deeper hues and grounded compositions, while mint tea expresses clarity and lightness through airy textures and cool color transitions. Despite their differences, all variants are unified within a single visual system to maintain brand coherence.

The square packaging format was intentionally selected to reinforce stability and refinement, while the rigid matte paper material enhances tactility and material presence. The muted surface finish allows the illustration textures to stand out subtly, inviting touch and closer inspection.

From concept to execution, the project positions packaging as a sensory storytelling medium—one that communicates emotion, balance, and visual harmony beyond the product itself. The result is a cohesive packaging system where illustration, material, and form work together to create a calm and collectible visual experience.
