Tasarist Creates Distinctive Product Identities for Arko Suncare

The most established sunscreen brand in Turkey, Arko Suncare, has tasked us with creating a strong and distinctive visual identity system that will set it apart in the competition.

We meticulously developed “distinctive visual icons” that give the brand a strong competitive edge and leave a lasting impression on consumers. These icons, tailored specifically for each product, not only strengthen brand recognition but also serve as a strategic tool to boost the brand’s visibility across social media platforms. The brand’s primary color, orange, was chosen for its ability to symbolize both energy and warmth qualities that resonate strongly with the brand’s identity. Additionally, the typography was thoughtfully designed to align perfectly with the broader Suncare category, ensuring consistency and recognizability.
In designing the bottles, we focused on enhancing the user experience and ensuring an ergonomic grip. Raised icons were incorporated on the sides of the bottles to reduce slippage when the product is handled with oily or sandy hands a common scenario for Suncare products. This design element not only improves usability but also reinforces the “strong visual identity” that permeates every aspect of the product line. Complementary cap colors were carefully selected for each product to further enhance brand cohesion, creating a visually appealing and unified product range.
The visual identity system developed for Arko Suncare is powerful and memorable, leaving a lasting impression across all communication efforts. By using these unique and “distinctive icons” in conjunction with eye-catching cap colors, the brand successfully differentiates itself within the competitive Suncare category and strengthens its overall perception. This comprehensive strategy enables Arko Suncare to establish a memorable and effective communication channel with its consumers, fostering lasting brand loyalty.
