Tanko is a premium pet nutrition company from Greece, transforming its brand presence from product-focused to emotion-centered. This refresh captures Tanko’s core belief that pets are genuine family members deserving the same quality care as human loved ones. The premium Welly line for cats and dogs embodies this philosophy by offering nutrition that strengthens the unique bond between pets and their families.

Pet parents who consider their companions as integral family members, not merely pets. They seek nutritional excellence that reflects their emotional investment and mirrors the thoughtfulness they apply to their own family’s meals.

Creative Concept
The Tanko identity centers on the profound truth in its tagline: “Pets Are Family.” This concept takes form in a distinctive heart-shaped paw logo that merges family symbolism with pet care. The paw’s digits represent family members united in care, while the heart formation speaks to the emotional depth of human-animal bonds. This symbol transcends corporate identification to become an emblem of shared values between the brand and pet parents.

Design Approach
The visual system employs a revitalized palette of vibrant green and blue that honors Tanko’s heritage while signaling commitment to sustainability and natural quality. The heart-paw symbol anchors a cohesive identity characterized by soft, embracing oval forms that echo the nurturing pet-family relationship. These rounded elements create visual continuity across packaging, establishing both shelf impact and emotional connection.
