Taller Arq. is an architecture atelier based in Brazil, with two young architects on the team that creates modern and contemporary architectural solutions. They started with a vision in college of creating projects that embraces architecture and product design. Their partnership have already won contests in the area of social works, they have a inspiration to use their work as tool to make a difference.
To begin creating the project, there was a need to understand the target audience and the market, Taller Arq. was created not only to embrace projects for clients, but also social works. There was this need to create a brand that could talk with all kinds of people. The word “Taller” is a word in spanish that means atelier, in the process of naming, the inspiration came from a trip that one of the architectures made to study in Mexico.
The inspiration for the development of this identity came from geometry and minimalism. The icon was created with dynamism from basic geometric shapes that represent the precision and structure needed in the creation of architecture projects. The base of the icon is the letters “T” and “A”. The choice of materials to represent the brand have a lot of textures, like the stone (that represents the part of construction of architecture), the emboss on paper to bring more of the sensory design. Every detail was thought to create a brand that goes beyond the minimalism and straight angles, a brand that is human also. All the visual elements combine to make a timeless brand.
