Tabernero Shows that Even Their Pisco has a Dark Side

The creative agency Boost Brand Accelerator received in September 2019 the brief from Tabernerno to create the first limited edition bottle for La botija, one of the brand’s emblematic drinks. The limited edition, La Botija Peru, arrived nationally in November 2020.

Unlike other pisco brands, La Botija is a brand with which the audience feels identified, not only because of the longevity of the brand in the market, but also because of the production and awards that this liquor has obtained globally. The finesse of this Pisco is the result of a rigorous selection of grapes and a winemaking process that combines tradition and high technology. The slow distillation with French copper stills completes the careful process that manages to make La Botija a national symbol.

“This limited edition is for that demanding person who appreciates the excellence of the design combined with the exquisite taste for pisco” this desire to mix and highlight the beauty and excellence in a single container was a key decision and was the basis of the idea that it set the course for creativity and inspired the design of this limited edition.

As a flagship drink, La Botija needed to be seen from a different perspective and demonstrate that it is more than just a traditional liquor. That is why when discussing the creation process, the agency focused on the lettering, complex and versatile like the liquid it contains, it was created exclusively to give life to the phrase “How will I not love you”, not only is it beautifully drawn, but rather as a metaphorical graphic idea, it poetically transmits the collective thought of each Peruvian and makes Pisco a drink ready to evolve and elevate the category.

This limited edition bottle is an exquisite embodiment of contemporary craftsmanship, La Botija’s bottle design strikes a dynamic balance between complexity and minimalism, underlining the brand’s proposal as the result of the best national liquor for modern tastes.
