Sustainable Yarns – A Utilitarian and Vibrant Identity for Eco-Conscious Manufacturing by Leyma Design

Sustainable Yarns is a forward-thinking supplier of eco-conscious carpet yarns, set out to bring transparency to sustainable materials in the retail space. They approached us to create a brand identity that would communicate their technical expertise with clarity while standing out from the expected “green” aesthetic.

We developed a utilitarian yet vibrant identity built around precision, data, and honesty. The identity merges functionality with visual impact, using bold layouts, color-coded information, and an icon system inspired by textile care symbols.

This system’s icon-based approach makes the branding effortlessly adaptable across real-world applications: from packaging and fabric swatches to labels, and other everyday tools of a carpet manufacturer. This cohesive, tactile translation reinforces the brand’s purpose: to make sustainability practical, visible, and woven into every detail.

The slogan “Focus on what matters most” evolved into more than just words, it became a visual idea. We translated its meaning into a symbol of two circles converging, creating a shared focus where a leaf appears. This icon not only complements the main logo but stands on its own as a mark of clarity and purpose. From there, the concept grew into a campaign: a series of visuals where two forms merge, revealing what matters most at their intersection—sustainability, transparency, and care. It’s a simple yet powerful way to express the brand’s vision: cutting through the noise to highlight what truly counts.
