Café Branding Project Proposal

This project outlines the complete brand identity development logo design, branding and packaging created to support the launch of a modern café concept that will expand across Europe. The project centers on crafting a refined, minimal and distinctly chic identity that reflects the client’s vision for a contemporary café atmosphere defined by the simplicity and quiet sophistication.

From the outset, the client expressed a clear preference for a highly minimal design direction. No illustrations (expect the coffee packagings) would be included the identity. Instead, the entire brand presence will rely on the strength of the logo and a restrained, elegant typographic system. Additionally, while beige and blue were initially relieved as potential directions, the client ultimately emphasized that no secondary color palette should be used in the final identity.

Given these parameters, the logo becomes the primary anchor of the brand. Strong enough to define the café’s presence across signage, menus, digital platforms and packaging, yet subtle to maintain the minimal ethos.

Packaging designs, also developed as part of this project, follow the same philosophy. Whether applied to coffee cups, pastry bags or takeaway items, the packaging maintains which, cohesive identity that reflects the Café’s European expansion strategy.

Overall, this proposal delivers a complete brand identity system rooted in clarity, minimalism and refined visual discipline. Through a logo driven approach supported by strong typography and understated packaging, the café will establish a distinctive presence that feels modern, confident and effortlessly sophisticated.
