Studio Zak Merges Art and Skincare in the Collectible World of GenSkN

Studio Zak Merges Art and Skincare in the Collectible World of GenSkN

Unapologetic skincare for every face.

GenSkN is a bold, inclusive cosmetics brand redefining luxury in the world of serums. Unbound by gender and unapologetically expressive, the brand positions itself primarily in the online space—where its visual identity does all the talking.

At the core of GenSkN’s branding is a striking logo inspired by Cubist linework: a tangle of abstract faces flowing seamlessly into one another. Where one face ends and another begins is intentionally unclear—a visual metaphor for the fluidity of identity. The Cubist approach challenged traditional representations of the human form, and this spirit of visual disruption is central to GenSkN. The typography—rooted in mid-century aesthetics—is a quirky sans serif with playful curves. It intertwines with the illustration itself, blurring the line between type and image, form and fluidity.

The packaging system carries this concept even further. Matte-finish bottles come in pastels with a twist—soft, but not stereotypically “feminine” or “masculine.” These are colors with personality, not gender. Oversized, color-rich lids top each bottle, adding a sculptural, collectible feel. The bold line illustration wraps around every product, transforming skincare into mini art objects—luxurious, expressive, and unmistakably GenSkN.

More than a visual identity, GenSkN is a movement. It speaks directly to a generation seeking authenticity, self-expression, and brands that reflect their values. Every design choice—from inclusive messaging to gender-neutral palettes—has been made to build emotional connection and community. It invites users to see themselves in the brand, not as a type or a target, but as part of a collective celebration of individuality.

This isn’t skincare that blends into a shelf. It’s skincare that takes up space—beautifully, intentionally, and without apology.
