Studio Take Two Launches Pour’d as a Ready to Pour Cocktail Brand for Modern Home Entertaining

Studio Take Two Launches Pour’d as a Ready to Pour Cocktail Brand for Modern Home Entertaining

Cocktail culture in India remains largely venue-dependent. At home, the experience collapses, making it feel like a task requiring equipment, precision, and a level of skill most people don’t have and don’t want to acquire. The gap between wanting a great drink and knowing how to make one has never been satisfactorily closed by a product. Pour’d was conceived to close that gap by simplifying the cocktails.

Pour’d was built for those who have discovered cocktails, genuinely enjoy them, and want to replicate that experience — but lack either the skill, the equipment, or the access to do so consistently. For this audience, Pour’d is both a practical solution and an aspirational one. The product lets her host with confidence, explore flavours she already knows she enjoys, and access bar-quality cocktails without needing to be near one. The brand was designed to meet that aspiration directly.

The Ask:
To create a ready-to-pour cocktail brand that served cocktail-curious consumers who wanted quality and ease in their homes while unlocking new markets as the culture grew.

The Visual Identity:
At the heart of the brand is Layla — a cockatoo developed as both a mascot and a visual anchor. Layla embodies the brand’s spirit directly: vibrant, sociable and always ready for an adventure.

The logo itself is designed to be clean yet distinctive, allowing it to adapt across packaging, digital, and social touchpoints while maintaining a strong recall.
Together, these elements create a brand that feels playful yet premium, but not intimidating.

Packaging Design
An Experience First Design

With Pour’d, Studio Take Two moves beyond traditional packaging design to create a system that shapes behaviour. The brand encourages spontaneity, reduces friction, and integrates seamlessly into social moments, making cocktails more accessible without diluting their appeal.

Instead of leading with the brand, the design prioritises flavour and experience cues, allowing users to quickly identify what they want.

Each variant is distinguished through bold, vibrant colours inspired by the drink itself, creating a system that is both cohesive and instantly recognisable. This use of colour not only enhances shelf visibility but also simplifies decision-making. The bottles are designed to perform across contexts, whether on a retail shelf, at a hosting table, or in social content.

In doing so, we aim to transform cocktails from a crafted skill into an everyday experience, one that is easy to enjoy, easy to share, and designed to be part of modern living.
