Student Identity Concept for a Teahouse for Travellers

The task of the project was quite narrowly focused, so the competition in the market is not great. The goal of the project was to create an identity for the tea shop. The main criterion is that this is not a simple tea shop. A tea shop for a specific target audience: travellers. Such a task immediately requires an unusual and creative approach to work, something that would immediately resonate in the soul of every traveler.
It was because of this that the decision was made to make something light and refined. Therefore, the metaphor of the herbarium was invented.
The main idea: each traveler carefully collects flowers from a new interesting place on this planet and puts each flower in his diary, creating a herbarium.

For him, the herbarium is a memory of a new place, his impressions. The memory of a new taste of tea. This idea is becoming especially acute these days, when many borders are closed and people miss the new sensations of traveling. Because of this idea, there was a naming – around the world. With this style for the tea room, people can feel the diversity of our world with different interesting flavors.

For a special light atmosphere for the project, it was decided to take the antique Garamond font and use it in several typefaces. With the help of it, it turned out to make a simple and pleasant typography. Black – and-white images of flowers are discreet, they automatically show a reference to herbariums. Even if the traveler has long left his favorite place, the memory of it is always kept close by. For each taste, a different flower can be used.

The whole project is made in a delicate color scheme, with two bright colors added: blue and red, for accents on the flavors of tea.
In addition to the logo, the project shows the concepts of developing tea packaging and a variety of additional attributes: the tea room menu, tea-scented candles that can be placed on the table in the tea room, packaging of eco-friendly gift chocolate with tea flavor and gift packaging. A single style can be traced in all media: a single composition, as if the pages of a diary with a variety of floral arrangements.
