Student Concept: Embracing Movement and Freedom in SUPFEST 2023 Brand Design for Water Lovers

SUPFEST 2023 is a festival where water lovers gather to enjoy sports and nature. Here you can immerse yourself in the fascinating world of pleasant sports, where every moment will be unforgettable. This festival offers a unique combination of nature, relaxation and sports that will not leave anyone indifferent.

The main idea of SUPFEST 2023 is to create an atmosphere of movement and freedom. That is why the identity of the festival is based on the image of boards that move across the water towards adventures. One of the boats is always placed as if we are on it ourselves. This symbolic image allows each participant to feel part of a process where the boundaries of reality are mixed with dreams.

To emphasize the main idea of the festival, the lacing element is used in the design, which is placed on top of the sapboard. This detailed emphasis adds visual interest and gives the festival identity additional originality. Lacing is a metaphor that denotes not only the connection with water sports, but also a kind of grid in which you can put emotions and impressions, “collect moments”.

The overall mood of the style is quite calm, light tones and accent orange combined with a sea gradient place the viewer in a wonderful atmosphere of the beach and easy relaxation. Elements of identity are developing both in offline and online media. The placement of its components is possible both together and separately: the main constants in the form of a boat, a sea gradient and lacing work just as well separately in the general context of the style.
