Flöt is a project that started from the briefing of creating or redesigning a streaming platform, creating its visual identity, naming and all the brand elements from its beginning to the end library of sounds in which expert composers can communicate, making their work easier.
The interface gives visibility to users and is secure both for those who upload their pieces and for those who download them. Flöt offers innovation, security and facilities for expert composers.
The design has a responsive logotype which appears like a dynamic element. The Ö symbolises the sound of people, representing Floe’s community and what they do: sounds.
After an exhaustive investigation of the possible competitors of this platform, we have established that none of them was creating a community in-between their users, which we think is so important to build trust in us.
The name Flöt comes from the idea of traditional values of composers and music but trying to make it modern, bold, and that it speaks on its own. The first instrument was the flute, which in German (language speaker in Austria where many of the most known composers lived) is called Flöte but they pronounce it as Flöt, the Ö speaks on their own and make the brand more human.
The colour palette has been determined by a plain colour similar to black and a soft colour trying not to condiciónate the user to be conditioned, every sound has to pass specific trials and software will determine which are its features such as rhythm, musical genre and beats per minute. Flöt, the sound of community.
