Student Concept Brand Identity for Q Peripherals Concept

A simple, eye-catching brand identity concept for a computer peripherals company. The idea of its visual style is based around letters and typography, as they represent the main purpose of computer mice and keyboards as means of receiving and inputting information. Two main style solutions are presented: a more strict and measured approach playing on the famous keycap shapes and a more chaotic “waterfall” of letters / information. Both represent the company’s goal of seamless and clean communication, the ease of connection flowing through the keyboards’ advertisements and packaging – nothing separates you from the typing experience. This brand identity allows the viewer to understand what the company’s product is without additional graphic or explanatory elements and easily translates to different packaging sizes, series of posters, flyers and advertisements. No additional colors are included in the designs so that the identity remains its minimalistic high-end aesthetics. If the packaging requires additional photos they are to be adjusted to the overall black and white minimalistic style.

This project was an important step in my creative studies and allowed me to explore new areas of design. Its creation was inspired by the art-direction course at HSE Art and Design School, where I had the privilege of receiving guidance and support from professionals in the field. I would also like to give credit to Alexander Blücher for his mentorship on the project and helping me to refine the idea and its typographic side.
