Student Concept Brand Identity for Hipster Craft Beer Fest by Elena Jung

Student Concept Brand Identity for Hipster Craft Beer Fest by Elena Jung

Hipster Craft Beer Fest is more than just a gathering; it’s a spirited celebration of those who relish the extraordinary world of craft beer. This event brings together beer enthusiasts from all walks of life, united by their passion for the unusual, the unique, and the artisanal. Craft beer isn’t just a drink; it’s an art form. It’s the embodiment of creativity, experimentation, and the pursuit of flavors that go beyond the ordinary.

However, curating a brand identity for a festival that pays homage to the diversity of beer and the contemporary hipster aesthetic was no small feat. The challenge lay in conveying the kaleidoscope of beer tastes and capturing the essence of modern hipster culture. How could we encapsulate the essence of artisanal beer and the spirit of the hipster movement in a visual and thematic identity that would resonate with festival-goers and craft beer enthusiasts alike?

Our solution to this creative challenge lay in the innovative use of technology, artistic inspiration, and the guidance of experienced mentors. We harnessed the potential of the Bing Image Creator AI, a powerful tool that allowed us to craft an alphabet uniquely made from the frothy, effervescent substance that is synonymous with craft beer – beer foam. This foam-made alphabet served as the cornerstone of our brand identity, setting the stage for an unparalleled visual and thematic experience.

The foam alphabet itself was a work of art. It breathed life into the festival’s branding, where each letter, delicately sculpted from beer foam, represented not just a character but a distinctive taste, aroma, and style of beer. These letters weren’t merely symbols; they were a manifestation of the artistry that goes into brewing each unique batch of craft beer. They became the bridge between the festival’s identity and the very essence of craft beer culture.

In addition to our innovative use of technology, we were privileged to collaborate with the Russian Higher School of Economics (HSE) Art and Design School. Their creative minds and expertise in the world of design and aesthetics provided us with invaluable insights. This collaboration allowed us to delve deeper into the artistic roots of the hipster culture, where we explored the blend of old-world craftsmanship with contemporary trends.

Our heartfelt appreciation goes to our dedicated mentor, Tanya Dunaeva, who played an instrumental role in guiding us through the intricate process of creating the brand identity for the Hipster Craft Beer Fest. Her knowledge, experience, and unwavering support were pivotal in shaping our vision into a tangible reality. Tanya’s dedication and mentorship illuminated our path, allowing us to bridge the worlds of craft beer and hipster culture seamlessly.
To achieve this, I harnessed the power of Bing Image Creator AI, which generated an alphabet crafted from beer foam. This innovative alphabet became the cornerstone of our brand identity and beer packaging, intertwining the essence of craft beer with hipster culture.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to the Russian Higher School of Economics (HSE Art and Design School) and our dedicated tutor, Tanya Dunaeva, for their invaluable support and guidance throughout this exciting project. Hipster Craft Beer Fest invites you to savor the artistry of beer and the spirit of the contemporary hipster world.
