Pace is a run-club app concept designed to help people discover local running communities and connect through movement. The project blends user experience design with a bold, energetic brand identity to create a digital product that feels approachable, motivating, and visually memorable. The intention behind Pace was to craft an experience that makes joining a running group feel less intimidating and more like stepping into a supportive, high-energy environment. It’s designed for beginners, seasoned runners, and anyone searching for connection through an activity that encourages both personal growth and collective momentum.
The visual identity revolves around a custom “P” icon shaped like a racetrack, symbolizing direction, motion, and the continuous loop of personal improvement. This mark sets the tone for the entire brand: clean, geometric, and built on a sense of forward movement. A vibrant color palette reinforces this attitude, leaning into bright greens and modern neutrals that evoke energy, clarity, and confidence. These colors express the uplifting, community-driven spirit behind the concept. Combined with structured typography choices, the visual system creates an interface that is easy to read, intuitive to navigate, and instantly recognizable.
Within the app design, simplicity and usability were prioritized from the start. Each screen is constructed with clear hierarchy, thoughtful spacing, and purposeful iconography to support a frictionless user journey.
