Dhiway, a blockchain company, expanded its offerings from a credentialing app (MarkStudio) to include CORD (the fastest, most scalable blockchain), a wallet, and more. Recognising that the digital world lacked the trust of the physical one, they set out to shift the paradigm. Achieving this required a strategic reorganisation and a core narrative aligned with their vision.
Our exercise began with a lot of discovery. The task at hand was to move the brand image from a credentialing application to a forward-looking technology enterprise that could carve a better future.
Dhiway’s brand purpose was defined as ‘Driving belief, confidence, and absolute certainty throughout the digital world’. We developed the brand promise, ‘Reshaping the digital future,’ to inspire trust and confidence.
This was visualised with the metaphor of ‘turning the page,’ embodied by a visual identity of three circles transitioning from darkness to light. The logo mark translates the metaphor directly. Dhiway’s bold, dependable, and confident personality drove the new design language. To stand apart from typical blockchain aesthetics, we moved away from the usual blues and blacks and embraced purple and yellow, symbolising confidence and credibility. The brand typeface, Aeonik, provides personality and impact while maintaining a timeless appeal.
The refreshed identity has helped Dhiway distinguish itself from typical cryptocurrency companies, forging strong partnerships with key organisations like ONDC and Google.
