Squeezing Out a New Story: The Sahar Sun Juice Range, Designed by Backbone Branding

Sahar Sun’s successful rebrand created the perfect foundation for expanding into new product lines. Building on the refreshed identity, we partnered with the brand to launch a healthful juice range  one that stayed true to its essence while standing out in a highly competitive and saturated category. This new chapter was not just about introducing another beverage to the market; it was about extending a trusted brand story into a new sensory experience that consumers could instantly recognize and connect with.

The task was twofold: introduce a fresh product line that immediately resonates with consumers, and ensure it carries the unmistakable Sahar Sun identity that people already know and trust. On crowded shelves filled with bright colors, loud patterns, and bold claims, the design had to cut through the noise, create an emotional connection, and tell a compelling story of quality, authenticity, and refreshment. Every element had to work harmoniously — from colors to textures to character — to reflect the soul of the brand.

Drawing inspiration from the heart of Sahar Sun, we envisioned the farmer – calm, relaxed, and enjoying a refreshing sip of juice. This character became the central storytelling device, supported by playful details like a patterned shirt, a summer hat, and sunglasses that radiate leisure and vitality. A unique tap element, directly on the fruit, reinforced the idea of ultimate freshness and purity.

To amplify shelf visibility, we integrated vibrant fruit imagery, carefully selected textures, and a color palette designed to evoke both energy and tranquility. Each design detail worked together to balance storytelling with impact, ensuring that the brand would not only stand out but also feel instantly recognizable.
