Spiked is a bold, modern ready-to-drink (RTD) alcohol brand created to disrupt the saturated beverage market with a high-energy, youth-centric identity. The goal was to build a brand that resonated with Millennials and Gen Z – urban, social, and image-conscious individuals who care about both flavor and aesthetics. From naming and visual identity to packaging and promotional design, our challenge was to make Spiked instantly recognizable, shelf-disruptive, and culturally relevant.

The brand centers around cocktail-inspired drinks—each packed with bold flavor and 9% alcohol volume. We developed a complete visual system that reflects the vibrant lifestyle of its audience: neon nightlife, rooftop parties, and spontaneous celebrations. Each can flavor was given its own standout color palette and illustrated ingredients, enabling instant visual differentiation while still maintaining brand cohesion.

The custom logotype is edgy and geometric, designed to work seamlessly across digital and print formats. Inspired by retro arcade and hip-hop poster typography, it evokes nostalgia while feeling distinctly current. Paired with an energetic tagline system (“Bold. Boozy. Canned.” and “Nice With A Twist”), Spiked’s messaging was crafted to feel cheeky and unapologetic.

Photography played a huge role in shaping the brand’s lifestyle appeal. We art-directed a campaign that captures real moments diverse young people enjoying life, dancing, laughing, and chilling with Spiked in hand. From club scenes to outdoor BBQs, every visual was curated to reflect a product built for all-day, all-vibe experiences.

In retail, the design extends to six-packs, on-shelf POS, and larger than life outdoor ads. Across all touchpoints, Spiked proudly wears its personality: unfiltered, unmissable, and unforgettable.
