Influential agency develop a vibrant brand to help stop smoking.
In a bold move to combat the devastating impact of smoking, Champs Public Health Collaborative, along with NHS Cheshire and Merseyside, has unveiled a brand aimed at making Cheshire and Merseyside smoke-free by 2030.
Backed by creative branding from integrated brand agency Influential, the new campaign aims to drive lasting change across the region.
Launched in conjunction with National No Smoking Day, the “Smoking Ends Here” campaign provides essential support and guidance to smokers across the region, encouraging them to adopt a healthier, smoke-free lifestyle.
We developed a brand mark that underlined the importance of the message whilst at the same time highlighted the narrative of stopping smoking.
To this end we developed a brand that used a cigarette shape to underline the brand name and gave it a red dot to enhance the stop smoking.
The brand was then developed to be vibrant, positive and full of hope.
We conducted extensive focus groups with smokers to better understand the obstacles they face when attempting to quit. Through this in-depth research, Influential was able to test a variety of messages styles and brand iterations to identifying the most effective ways to engage the target audience.
Using these insights, we created a brand that creates huge standout in a sea of health brands.
This brand now allows the audience to connect with the brand through a strong narrative and positive messaging.
We also created custom assets for use in healthcare settings, including GPs’ offices, hospitals, and pharmacy screens, to further extend the campaign’s visibility and reach.
The campaign drives audiences back to a dedicated website, which shares real-life stories from those who have successfully quit smoking, along with a wealth of resources, providing practical tools and support to help others take the first step toward a smoke-free future.
