Chen Design Associates – Kona Coffee Purveyors
Hawaii’s finest artisan Kona coffee roaster had a brand presence that fell short of its promise to “lavish care and attention to every detail from the coffee blossom to the cup.” Kona Coffee Purveyors sought Chen Design Associates to invigorate and reimagine its brand from the inside out, in time for its flagship cafe opening in Waikiki’s newly renovated International Market Place.
We created the brand’s custom typeface and mark with companion monogram to honor the premium coffee company’s island estate origins. Our comprehensive identity and packaging rollout included this exclusive gift package utilizing metallic foils, embossing, and magnetic closure. The luxurious unboxing experience reveals a heritage-inspired map and showcases three custom-fit packages which we design for each of their single-estate 100% Kona coffees.
