Silence (Silencio) is the absence of ambient audible sound, the emission of sounds of such low intensity that they do not draw attention to themselves, or the state of having ceased to produce sounds; this latter sense can be extended to apply to the cessation or absence of any form of communication, whether through speech or other medium.

A label made for two wines. The idea for this label came from the fact that these wines are very soft.
Despite their mild taste, they come from two very dynamic varieties. For this very reason and despite the fact that the name of these wines is “Silencio”, on the label I have added the gramophone to show this contrast.

Moschofilero is an aromatic white grape of Greek origins with a pink/purple skin and quite spicy flavor with good acidity. Grown throughout much of Greece and primarily in Peloponnese where it is traditionally used to make a dry and bold wine with much spice and perfume.

Agiorgitiko is a red Greek wine grape variety that, as of 2012, was the most widely planted red grape variety in Greece, ahead of Xynomavro. The grape has traditionally been grown in the Nemea region of the Peloponnese.

The Peloponnese Peninsula (Peloponnesus) is a large landform on the southern edge of continental Greece. Covered in mountains, rugged plateaus and valleys, the area has an abundance of mesoclimates and terroirs suitable for premium viticulture.

Native grape varieties such as Agiorgitiko, Moschofilero and Mavrodaphne are planted throughout the peninsula. They produce everything from fresh, minerally white wines to rich, ageworthy reds.
