Sicilia is a new fast food concept in Italy. People in Italy want to homemade pasta become available fast food, like pizza. Pasta is a trademark not only of Sicily but of the whole of Italy. This is food which is made from scratch daily, so that customers can enjoy in fresh pasta. Sicily is the oldest Italian and Western location on record where pasta worked into long and thin form and she became part of the local cuisine, so that long and thin form became my inspiration. My branding proposal for this new food company is based on pasta shape. Since the Italian flag consists of three parts, I replaced the three letters of logotype with the shape of pasta. I filled in those three letter-shapes with color and used them as a visual graphic element for branding. Used colors for branding are light yellow as association on pasta and red as association on Italian cuisine. Pasta is lifestyle!
