Molly’s Mayo is a traditional product from the Montana region (USA) for locals. Now, the brand is betting on exporting the product to different parts of the world, mainly Latin America. With vintage touches and using a sense of belonging, connection with the target audience and legitimacy of the product’s quality, Molly’s will strategically reach customers looking for a quality product with seasonings and inputs that do justice to the values of its farms.
The creation process began with the idea of creating a new packaging that could supply the domestic market with artisanal products, but by studying and carrying out spatial research on the entire market, the company’s financial and strategic team came to the conclusion that they could adhere to the idea. to create a new label with the expansion of products to regions never before reached. Despite being a product characteristic of the region of its manufacturers, the idea is to use this launch as a form of testing to break down continental barriers and understand how the product can behave compared to other types and recipes present in the Latin market.
This new packaging has a look that is somewhere between vintage and new retro. We experimented with different styles until we arrived at a result that conveyed the essence of the more traditional Molly’s, but with brighter and more toned colors that would stand up to the more “new and youthful” products on the market. The process of illustrating and creating the signs was conceived manually with pen and paper, but it was soon transferred to the digital screen so that we could have good monitoring of all the phases of the process with all the people and professionals involved.
The entire process took around 2 months, from the beginning of the meetings to the validation and completion of the project, which is considered a short time. However, we would like to emphasize the pride and happiness in completing this project, knowing that we delivered, in addition to a beautiful look, a strategy.
