Embarking on the Bello Gelatto branding journey was a riveting exploration of artistic expression for an artisanal gelato haven nestled in the vibrant locale of Caldas Novas, proudly affiliated with the distinguished Rio Quente Group in Brazil. I endeavoured to infuse the project with the timeless allure of the Italian Renaissance, sculpting a brand that mirrors a relentless pursuit of perfection and a celebration of classicism within the delectable universe of gelato.
In architecting the visual identity, the choice of the Domaine font was pivotal, a decision made to orchestrate an exquisite symphony of sophistication and contemporary elegance. This font became the soul of Bello Gelatto, breathing life into the brand and narrating a tale of refined craftsmanship. The packaging design, conceived with meticulous precision, mirrors the creation of a gelato masterpiece, where sophistication stands as the eminent attribute.
Inspired by the resplendent Renaissance architecture of Florence, Italy, I orchestrated a modern reinterpretation of colors and shapes. The vibrant hues and dynamic forms pay homage to tradition while seamlessly embracing a fresh, contemporary perspective. Each visual element, a brushstroke on the canvas of Bello Gelatto, reflects the rich history of gelato-making while charting new territories of indulgence.
As the Freelancer Creative Art Director at Contém, I spearheaded this project with a vision to redefine the gelato experience. My role encompassed more than just design; it embraced the delicate art of Naming, where Bello Gelatto emerged as a beacon of aesthetic excellence. The Strategic Art Direction guided every design decision, ensuring a seamless fusion of tradition and innovation. The Innovative Design and Elegant Packaging underscored the commitment to elevating Bello Gelatto to a realm where it becomes synonymous with an unparalleled, sensorial journey.
