Roasted Sip – Rebranding a Coffee Roastery in Brunei

Playquarters – Roasted Sip

Roasted Sip is a boutique coffee roastery and café in Brunei founded in March 2017, with an uncompromising dedication to making premium coffee accessible and exciting; creating a value-added experience that both seasoned and new coffee drinkers appreciate and enjoy.In mid 2018, a rebranding exercise was done to enhance the premium positioning of the brand. Aside from the new primary tagline “Making every sip count”, we proposed a flexible messaging system that allows Roasted Sip to tailor each brand touchpoint with a unique phrase. For example, “Indulgence in every sip” is used on the plastic cups and “Worth every sip” on the napkins.In addition to the tailored messages, we overhauled the brand’s colour palette, from kraft brown and maroon to shades of warm grey, dark brown and copper accents. The new moody tones paired with the hints of copper convey the image of minimalist elegance, which better represents the brand. This new palette is implemented across all touchpoints, from the paper cups to coffee pouches and café interior.
