The Clubhouse with a delicious breakfast surrounded by a victorian atmosphere for its guests. Built circa 1865, Danielle & Joe decided to transform the experience of modern lodging with a vintage touch, thus creating the River st. social. The challenge of the project was to rescue the language of the time in a visual way, architectural details present in the house, reaching its originality with ornaments and refinements of the victorian period.
The luxury card was designed after research about victorian product ads, where we have more type structures than Hotel Ads. following with the process which was totally handmade, since the lettering River St. Social, until the ornaments and details of shadows. The client was wondering to have a piece with vintage essence and finishings that remember something to highlight all the glamour worked in architecture and articles of clothing in that time. The first view of visual research detailed letterings with bigs capitals and strong ornaments inside of it, a combination of many font styles, a hierarchy based on size and weight were very used too; The ornaments filing blank spaces, patterns going around the piece to create depth, and illustrations trying to show consumers their product/service, were used and worked on the piece.
The final result was a self-promotion artifact with details in metallic finishes followed by embossing which reflects in sensorial elements,
creating depth in the piece and building a strong and living memory of the residence.
