As a virtual events platform, Right Aligned was made to empower the future of creative people by broadcasting regular, online talks with people working in design today. To celebrate their first anniversary, Studio Native, was commissioned to refresh their identity and reflect their growing ambition to make creative industries accessible to all.

Right Aligned said: “The identity refresh Studio Native have produced really reflects our continually ambition to elevate all voices, irrelevant of age, ability and background. We want to impact on the lives of people working in design and by breaking down the barriers we can change the future of creative industries forever.”

Centered around a logo mark that’s been built using a series of fluid shapes, the Right Aligned identity refresh fuses assets that set the tone for the short and long–term future. Creative Director, Chris Sanders said: “The brands ambition was infectious, so we had to capture the energy and passion of the team. It was essential for us to visually mirror where they were going.”

The strategy was to harness what made Right Aligned unique and by injecting a vibrant colour scheme, contemporary typography and relatable language the identity refresh captures the essence of the project. A number of grid structures were developed to give strength to how the brand communicate whilst other assets allow the business to look fresh.

This project is now being rolled out and will feature a number of new additions including a printed magazine celebrating design and a sister brand that’s been conceived to make creative industries accessible to all called, Design Share.
