The French Boulevard trademark is inseparably connected with the history of the city of Odesa and with a specific place of cultural and historical significance — 10 French Boulevard. It was precisely here, in 1857, within the ancient catacombs beneath the boulevard, that Belgian consul Victor Henno, together with the French merchant François Nouveau, established wine cellars intended for the production, aging, and storage of wines. This location became not only the physical birthplace of the brand but also a symbolic foundation of its identity, reflecting a unique combination of European heritage, entrepreneurial vision, and the rich winemaking traditions of the region.
The redesign of the French Boulevard Special Edition sparkling wine label represents an evolutionary continuation of the brand’s renewed visual identity, carefully balancing innovation with continuity. While introducing a more contemporary aesthetic, the new design deliberately preserves the most recognizable elements of the previous version in order to maintain brand consistency and consumer familiarity. The diamond — the brand’s distinctive symbol — has been thoughtfully reinterpreted and seamlessly integrated into both the neck label and the main label, reinforcing visual cohesion across the packaging.
Overall, the visual language has become more restrained, refined, and contemporary, yet it retains a sense of historical depth and authenticity. The FB monogram and accompanying decorative elements have likewise undergone a process of deliberate evolution, transitioning from purely ornamental motifs toward a structured and professional graphic system. They now exhibit clearer proportions, modernized typography, and a more sophisticated hierarchy of information, all of which contribute to a stronger perception of premium quality. As a result, the new design establishes the image of a mature, elegant, and more distinguished product line within the brand’s portfolio, emphasizing both heritage and modern excellence.
