In 2022, I had the honor of being invited to develop the new visual identity of what was, until then, Rakel Studio. From that moment on, it would be called Flover – Esmalteria.
Flover is a nail salon/studio dedicated to female beautification and offers a range of high quality services. Among these services, we highlight cuticululation, traditional nail polish, stretching with artificial nails, as well as spas for treatments and relaxation.
Flover’s graphic brand needed to convey its essence in a simple way, which is why we opted for a unique typographic solution. This solution incorporated specific details that reference the famous Lotus Flower, but in a completely unique way. The details chosen also refer to the different nail finishes available on the market, giving the brand unique characteristics and full of concepts.
We reached a very satisfactory and distinctive result in relation to all its competition, creating a timeless and typographic brand that displays its elegant features without losing its accessibility. We needed a main color to represent the essence of the brand, and for that we opted for pink, an extremely feminine color that, due to its name, also alludes to a flower, as this is how the brand sees its customers: as flowers in need. bloom in your beauty.
We chose the Shallot and Tenor Sans font families as primary and secondary fonts, creating a powerful duo that captures attention without distracting from other graphic materials. Shallot is used for titles and texts where we need highlights; it can be used in its different variations, but the main one is the regular/italic variation. Tenor Sans is functional, with a perfect balance between personality and refinement.
